The Corpse Flower at the New York Botanical Garden is truly a once in a lifetime experience. The last time NYBG saw the flower bloom was 1939.  Check out this time lapse video of the flower as it blooms and collapses.  During its short peak, it smells like rotting flesh thus giving it the name Corpse Flower.
